Woo Jae-Hee (Lee Jang-Woo) arbeitet als Architekt. Sein Vater Woo Jung-Hoo (Jung Bo-Suk) leitet eine große Firma, aber Woo Jae-Hee hat sich im Laufe der Jahre mit ihm gestritten. Nach dem Eintritt in eine Universität lebte Woo Jae-Hee unabhängig und erhielt keine Unterstützung von seinem Vater. Jetzt ist er gutaussehend, klug und leistet gute Arbeit als Architekt. Er trifft Lee Bit Chae Woon ( Jin Ki-Joo ) zum ersten Mal während einer Hausumbaustelle.
Lee Bit Chae Woon arbeitet für ein Innenarchitekturgeschäft. Ihre Aufgabe ist es, Kunden zu besuchen und bei der Auswahl von Vorhängen, Beleuchtung und anderen Designentscheidungen zu helfen. Lee Bit Chae Woon und Woo Jae-Hee geraten beim Hausumbau in einen Streit. Sie sind auch beide Bewohner der Villa Samgwang. Woo Jae-Hee hat warme Gefühle für die Bewohner und mag die allgemeine Atmosphäre dort. Lee Bit Chae Woon hat eine andere Sicht auf den Ort. Sie unterstützt ihre Familie, einschließlich ihrer Mutter Lee Soon-Jung ( Jeon In-Hwa ) und zwei jüngere Geschwister. Sie fühlt sich belastet, weil sie sie immer unterstützen muss. Sie träumt davon, einmal Textildesignerin zu werden, doch es fällt ihr nicht leicht. Sie träumt auch davon, die Samgwang Villa und die Verantwortung als Haushaltsvorstand zu verlassen.
